Július 21-én esedékes a következő nagy videójátékos díjátadó, ekkor lesz ugyanis az immáron huszonegyedik alkalommal megrendezésre kerülő Game Developers Choice Awards, amely szokás szerint a GDC-hez kapcsolódik majd, melyet idén digitális eseményként fognak megtartani. A GDC Awards legnagyobb esélyesei idén a Ghost of Tsushima, a Hades és a The Last of Us Part 2, melyek egyaránt hat-hat kategóriában kaptak jelölést.

A zsűri összesen tíz kategóriában fogja díjazni a 2020-as esztendő legjobbjait. A jelölteket (illetve az arról lecsúszó címeket) lent láthatjátok.
